
Preemie Sensor is an spectrometer calibrated with human milk and designed to analyse mother’s milk for its nutritional composition.
The Preemie Sensor is calibrated to quantify:
- Crude Protein (includes non-protein nitrogen)
- Total Fat
- Total Solids
- Ash
- Total Fatty Acids
- Arachidonic acid (ARA)
- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)
- Linoleic acid (LA)
- α-Linolenic acid (ALA)
Preemie Sensor Features:
- The sensor is portable (weight less than 300g) and wireless
- Results are obtained in less than 30 seconds
- Just two drops of milk are needed (0.35 μmL)
- Calibration is quick (less than 30 seconds) and does not require any consumables
- Cuvette cleaning is easy and requires no consumables
