Joseph is a versatile professional with a robust background in the semiconductor sector, specializing in developing electronic materials, devices, and manufacturing systems. His technical expertise is rooted in advanced research conducted during his Ph.D. and postdoctoral work at Imperial College London, which focused on nanopatterning solution-processable electronics and fabricating composite transparent electrodes.

Building on this research, he progressed into hands-on engineering roles with industry leaders such as ASML and Philips. In these positions, he was responsible for developing innovative hardware and software solutions for complex lithography systems, managing multidisciplinary upgrades, and leading rapid-response efforts for critical customer escalations.

He subsequently applied his deep technical knowledge in a strategic consulting capacity, first with Ernst & Young and later as a Technical Specialist and Associate Manager. In these roles, he led teams and managed the complete process of R&D tax incentive claims, translating complex technical projects into successful financial outcomes for a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including bioscience.
